Markie Post is a noted American actress known for her roles as the public defense Christine Sullivan in NBCs sitcom Night Court the bail bondswoman Terri Michaels in ABCs drama show The Fall Guy and Georgie Anne Lahti Hartman in CBSs sitcom Hearts Afire. Other than acting she has also appeared on a range of games programs. Daughter of the poet Marylee Post and scientist Richard F. Post she was raised alongside two children within Walnut Creek. She attended Las Lomas High School where she played cheerleading. She was briefly a student at Pomona College and graduated from Lewis & Clark College in Oregon. Post's previous marriage was to Stephen Knox. Michael A. Ross (actor/writer) has been Post's husband since 1982. The couple has two daughters. Post inspires numerous Hollywood actors by being a wonderful actor, wife and mother. Early credits of Post's include a pilot of the 1981 Barnaby Jones, Simon & Simon: Details at Eleven, which aired in season one, episode 2. The Greatest American Hero and episodes from The A-Team.
